Excel output structure

The Excel file uses one row per transaction. Typical columns include Date, Description, Debit, Credit, and Balance — matching what you see in the on-screen preview.

Preview before you download

After upload, you review extracted transactions first. Export starts only when you choose Download Excel — so you can catch mis-reads before the spreadsheet leaves the browser.

Balance verification in Excel workflows

When opening and closing balances are present, we check Opening Balance + Credits − Debits = Closing Balance. Status shows as Balance verified or Balance could not be verified. We do not invent rows to force a match.

Best for

  • Text-based checking and savings statement PDFs
  • People who want a spreadsheet, not a raw text dump
  • Quick reviews before bookkeeping or tax prep
